Senator John F. Keenan

Senator Keenan proudly represents the Norfolk and Plymouth District, consisting of the city of Quincy and the towns of Braintree, Abington, Holbrook, and Rockland. Sen. Keenan was raised in Quincy and attended Quincy Public Schools, Harvard University, Suffolk University Law School, and Harvard Kennedy School. He has served as the Executive Secretary to the Mayor of the City of Quincy, Executive Director of the Norfolk County Retirement System, and as a Quincy City Councilor, before being elected as Senator in 2011. He is currently the Chair of the Senate Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, Chair of the Joint Committee on Housing, and Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee on Transportation.
