Senator Liz Miranda is the State Senator for the 2nd Suffolk District and formerly served as the State Representative for the 5th Suffolk District. Born and bred in Roxbury, Senator-Elect Miranda hails from Roxbury and is a proud graduate of the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics and Science. After high school, she attended Wellesley College. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Boston Alumnae Chapter, and the Wellesley Club of Boston.
