Tyreese Nicolas

 

Tyreese Nicolas is the Deputy Commissioner for Family Access and Engagement at the Department of Early Education and Care. She is a longtime public servant in state government, where she has worked in a variety of roles at Department of Children and Families, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and Department of Transitional Assistance. Her passion lies in transforming systems to better serve communities and connect and support family economic mobility. Tyreese’s entire career has been focused on uplifting family voice and ensuring that policies reflect the family experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and Masters in Public Administration from Suffolk University.
